I'm Agata, a Dispensing Optician with a passion for helping people find glasses that truly fit.

After 15 years working across chain, high street, and independent opticians, I realised I wanted something different: a calmer, more personal way to help people choose eyewear. That's why I opened Got Frames — a cosy, independent eyewear studio in Dún Laoghaire where there's no rush, no pressure, and plenty of time to browse, try on frames, and enjoy the experience.

Got Frames was built from the ground up by my husband and me. We designed the studio ourselves, creating a bright, minimalist space inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics. That inspiration is much more than just a design trend — I lived in Copenhagen for nine years before moving to Dublin, and it had a lasting influence on my style, my approach to design, and the atmosphere I wanted to create.

I qualified as a Dispensing Optician at ABDO College in Godmersham, Kent, and I continue to develop my skills through ongoing professional training. I also completed specialist Spec-Care training in the UK, allowing me to carry out frame alterations and repairs that improve comfort, restore fit, and help extend the life of glasses. I believe great eyewear shouldn't just look good — it should fit beautifully, feel comfortable, and last for years.
