Own lenses in a new frame?

That's a tricky one!

The main reason is that all the measurements we take when making glasses are specific to the original frame. When fitting existing lenses into a new frame, we need to keep those measurements exactly the same to ensure the glasses still provide the correct vision.

The lenses themselves also need to be very similar in shape and size to the originals, or the new frame has to be significantly smaller so the lenses can be reshaped to fit. Unfortunately, this often means compromising on which frames are suitable.

In this case, though, we were lucky to find the perfect match. The lenses fit beautifully, and the patient walked away with a fresh new look—without compromising their vision!
