Looking for glasses that care for the planet as well as your eyes?

Come explore our new Bird Eyewear Range.

Bird Eyewear is our favourite sustainable eyewear brand. With durable frames made from plant-based bio-acetates, recycled metals, and repurposed materials. They’re the highest-scoring B Corp in the global eyewear industry, blending ethical design with award-winning style.

Bird was founded in 2017 by brothers who saw the need for high quality eyewear that looks great, stands up to everyday use and ultimately, doesn’t end up on the ever-growing mountain of plastic waste.

Planet positive Materials

Built to Last: Bird frames are designed with the planet in mind. Most of the collection is made from Bird’s own formula bio-acetate called Plantix.

● Plantix® - a plant-based bio-acetate material that’s adjustable, durable, and hypoallergenic.

● Recycled Steel – strong, lightweight and 90% lower in emissions than new metal.

● Certified wood and bamboo – renewable, responsibly sourced and naturally beautiful.

Bird Forest

In partnership with Devon County Council and The Devon Wildlife Trust, Bird team has planted over 10,000 trees across four sites in Devon and Cornwall, alongside assisting in re-wilding and habitat cultivation and sponsoring local tree nurseries for community use. The team regularly gets stuck into planting days, doing the work themselves and often inviting customers and partners to join the fun.
