We’re going to the Filipino Festival!

You may be wondering: what is an optician doing at a Filipino festival? The answer is: quite a lot!

At Got Frame, we are the first optician in Ireland to offer a wide range of low-bridge fit frames. Low-bridge fit frames are particularly beneficial for many people of Asian heritage, which is why we're excited to be part of the Filipino Festival community.

What are the low-bridge frames? They are designed to sit higher on the face, ensuring the lenses are positioned correctly and preventing glasses from constantly sliding down the nose. Many low-bridge frames are made from lightweight titanium to reduce overall weight and feature specially designed temples that gently wrap around the head for greater comfort and stability.

Why is this so important? Because the fit of a frame is crucial to how well glasses perform. Advanced lens designs, such as myopia management lenses and progressive lenses, depend on precise positioning to work as intended. If the frame does not fit correctly, the lenses cannot deliver their full benefits.

During the Filipino Festival, we'll be demonstrating properly fitted frames, promoting our Quiet Hours service, and discussing topics such as myopia management, occupational lenses, and progressive lenses.

For many years, people who needed low-bridge fit frames were underserved in Ireland. That's why Got Frame stepped in.

We believe in inclusivity—and we mean it.

Do you know someone whose glasses are always sliding down their nose? Send them our way. We'd love to help.
